Wendy joins APX from her current role as General Manager, Retail Networks for Helloworld NZ where she’s spent 12 months bedding down the new networks structure and with her team has achieved significant growth across the four networks.
Wendy has almost 20 years’ travel industry experience including a strong corporate background, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ).
Simon McKearney, Executive General Manager at Helloworld NZ commented, “It is very pleasing to be able to appoint a leader from within our business despite the high quality of applicants externally. We have a strong vision of where the Corporate business needs to head and a lot of initiatives to deliver. I have full confidence in Wendy to deliver upon these significant changes which will set our business for the years ahead.”
Wendy’s role will commence 1 July.
