The APX Ambassador Awards are an annual people’s choice programme, giving staff the opportunity to vote for colleagues who live and breathe the APX values - Excellence, Teamwork, Fun, Positivity, Conversation and Passion.

This year’s APX Ambassadors, as nominated by their peers are; Carl Sinclair, Nicholas Jones, Gail McEwen, Aimee Donovan, Sarah Gregory, Kelly Linton, Nicole Fleetwood, Teri-Lee Hooper, Louise Morrison and Amy Jakobs.

APX General Manager, Wendy van Lieshout said, ““The citations that have rolled in from across the business have made incredible reading, and truly demonstrate the amazing culture at APX.  It’s clearly a fantastic place to work and it’s awesome to be able to recognise the people who contribute every day to making it so great.”

The Ambassadors will travel on an all-expenses paid trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with flights sponsored by Air New Zealand.

They will be hosted by van Lieshout and Air New Zealand Account Manager Chris Hughes, staying at the Caravelle Hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Though the final itinerary is yet to be released, activities will include a Saigon City tour, Grain by Luke Nguyen cooking class and Mekong Delta tour.

APX Ambassador Award winner and Partnerships Manager Nicholas Jones from Auckland commented, “The recognition is not based on financial targets but goes to those who truly believe in what they do each day, which makes APX an extremely rewarding company to work for.  It's an awesome achievement to be recognised by my peers for the award and I am looking forward to sampling the Vietnamese culture!”
