Savings

APX guarantees to save you money by reviewing your travel patterns and policy in depth, introducing new visible innovations, helping to drive policy compliance.

Reporting capabilities 

APX offer a wide range of reports that can be customised to meet client requirements. All reports come with analysis from your dedicated Account Manager with comprehensive reviews periodically throughout the year. Monthly reports include, but are not limited to: total travel expenditure by cost centre and broken down by traveller, air, hotel and car expenditure including breakdown by supplier or by traveller, lost savings by traveller or business unit, top traveller, credits on hold, booking method (including target measurement), cost of ticket change by traveller or business unit, room night analysis by traveller or business unit, car day analysis, lead in times, CO2 emissions for land and/or air, and benchmarking.

APX etrack

APX eTrak is the industry's most robust e-ticket tracking and information management system. APX eTrak robotically retrieves e-ticket data, copying valuable information to a database where data is warehoused indefinitely. These are recorded on a credit register which our consultants check prior to each booking to ensure that any outstanding credits are used in a timely manner.

ISO certification

APX were one of the first NZ travel management companies to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification. We have such high standards of audited procedures in place to monitor performance, service, benchmarking and issue resolution, that we are proud to have also achieved ISO 14001 certification.

Policy management capabilities

We can drive customer policy through Sabre Agency Management with management and exception reporting.  We are able to advise the client where they are able to improve on spending and monitor change costs and lost savings.  We can also monitor preferred supplier agreements.

GCSI tool

APX have implemented a new global issue logging and reporting portal - GCSI. This portal is available to our customers via our customer service site and allows travellers and travel arrangers to easily input feedback, issues or concerns they wish to make on past business trips booked with us. These issues are allocated a job number and automatically routed to APX for timely and efficient resolution.

2D Bar-coding

Air New Zealand have revolutionised the domestic travel experience with a range of technical and design innovations that will help customers save time and get through the airport faster, and 2D Bar Coding is one of these. From the 3rd November 2009 all domestic bookings that contain at least one Air New Zealand segment will have the capability to produce a 2D Barcode on each itinerary. These bar codes are then scanned at the new check-in kiosks, either with baggage or board at the gate. There are some restrictions around 2D bar-coding, so please contact us for further information.

Support and training for online booking tools

APX has a dedicated Product Support Specialist Team in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Their roles are training and implementation for two online booking tools, namely Sabre Online and Serko Online. This team supports our client users who all have direct access to the group regardless of their location. In addition, this team supports two other online tools for our American Express clients. Our Product Specialists share a joint email box ensuring that all queries and requests are actioned promptly and efficiently.

Total cost of ownership review

APX is extremely proficient in analysing and offering assistance in regards to the total cost of ownership for travel. Supplier negotiations are a key area of APX's offerings and we aim to get the best deal for each and every one of our clients. We work with a wide range of suppliers and have high-level relationships with them in order to assist you in numerous situations, from waivers and favours, right through to air, car and hotel contract negotiations.
